Two years and 3 months in the making! Dishpan hands. 87 trips to Home Depot. 3 trips to Ikea. Contractors repair 2 ceilings, 5 new windows, 2 new floors, 80% repainted. All basement lighting is replaced. 2109 bags of trash are tossed. 8 swag lamps. 2 trucks of flea market finds. Children straighten their rooms for the first time. The house is CLEAN (if only for a night)! More photos to follow, but for now, a few snapshots right before guests are welcomed into the manor, March 26, 2011!
