Uncle Fun! The Store with the Most Laffs in Chicago Sadly Says Goodbye!

We love Uncle Fun!
After hearing that the month long celebration was under way
(a nice way of saying "closing"), Kieran, Leo and I have already gone 3 times in the last 10 days through the snow to do some extensive 50% off shopping.
Both the kids have been going there all her life, and I've put in a good 30 years of enjoying the great oddball merchandise on the well stocked shelves of Uncle Fun (and before that, Goodies).
To our surprise, Uncle Fun himself, Ted Frankel, was there
and we reminisced about how wonderful he is
(which was quite odd for me because I usually just like to reminisce
about how wonderful I am).
Long live Uncle Fun (now only in Baltimore)!
