Tennessee State Fair Memories!
One of the displays inside a cavernous building was a huge small (aka Jumbo Shrimp) scale model train landscape set-up about 40 feet by 60 feet and 5 feet high. It seemed that it was a group project between at least 4 mini choo choo aficionados who each got a section to create their particular vision. The furthest side of the display from the entrance, almost butting up to the back wall, was the most particular vision of all. It started with a faulty nuclear reactor site that was leaking radiation into the water supply. As you took the scenic cruise down Scum Lake you'd pass Maw Barkers Home For Unwed Mothers, then Green Acres Art & Nudist Colony. As a fellow artisan, I was impressed by the deft pubic hair brush strokes and pink precision nipple accent painting skills. The town line ended with a funeral with the Grim Reaper standing on the horizon. Com'on back soon ya'll!
I had a little model train as a kid, but I had no idea of the possibilities until now.
If I had the room...
