It's really great to see these photos inside of the Woods - it's not often that personal photo collections of any theatre is displayed for the public, & with such a story to boot. I am a lover of movie palaces & Chicago's history with them, along with being an amateur historian on them & a not so amateur historic tour guide of the Chicago Theatre.

I figure it's a long shot but I have to ask - do you have any other photos of theatres throughout the years similar to these? It'd be awesome if that's the case!

Thanks!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10804039166524326240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2345163190462091457.post-72484806195173023022014-07-09T08:48:58.015-07:002014-07-09T08:48:58.015-07:00John- Thanks!

I, unfortunately, only made it into two of the Loop palaces before they closed and the Woods was not one of them. I have always wondered what it looked like inside. Too bad you don't have any pictures of the auditorium. I hope you don't mind me correcting you on just one thing and it's your last line of the blog. The Woods was on the NW side of the street at Dearborn and Randolph. I look forward to any future blogs on the Chicago palaces.John Sancheznoreply@blogger.com
